Footdrill!!

Alot of footdrill today.
Firstly took Part B's for footdrill.
They have made ALOT of improvement since a few trainings ago,
which i am pretty happy about.
What i'm not satisfied
is the fact that
we are onli training the same 15 ppl over and over again.

Come on

Who would be attracted to join NCC by watching 15 ppl march in a platoon?

For ur info 15 is considered very little.

In fact, its not even 15.

15 came for training.
Onli 10 did footdrill.

Well after training was footdrill for NCOs.
I didnt expect us to do THAT well.
After all, we havent done it for months now.
But just now
was MAGIC!

To tell you the truth it was near perfect.
Well, somebody by the name of Rahim
just had to turn to the back
when the command was really to turn to the right.
Well i wont be so arrogant
but that was the best piece of footdrill we have made since a very long time.

Inter Class Soccer

So in the end, favourites 3B were eventual champions.
And 3F took the title of underdogs, making their way to an unexpected match up in the finals.

Kudos to 3H for putting up a great performance.
3H is a really supportive class.
And 3I, tough luck, getting kicked out by 3F.
3F may have won by single lucky goal,
but luck is always part of the game.

So other than naming the Champions and runners up, shudnt they announce those players who have produced moments of magic in that field?

I will, based on my opinion.

Golden Ball(MVP)
A really hard decision to make. But it all comes down to who influnced his team to win the most. And out of 3 names, to me dat person is Arnold 3H for scoring 3 goals and assisting 2.
Others wud be Setiawan 3F and Mateen and Riyaz 3B.

Golden Boot(Top Scorer)
A title which i held for 20 minutes.
Im REALLY not sure who scored most.
All i know is Arnold 3H scored 3
Kian Leong 3H Kannan 3I scored 2
Riyaz and Mateen scored a few.

Safe Hands(Best Goalie)
Faisal 3B
Well i dont think he conceded any.
He certainly didnt have to touch the ball that much.
The 3F goalie, Zhen Yi i think, also played an awesome game.
So many saves from him.
I wud have given him the title if he had played more games.
Ling Zhen 3H shud be applauded too.

Versitility(Best Defender)
My self created title.
Well defenders rarely get the credit.
Setiawan 3F is my top favourite.
He is the reason 3F went so far.
Followed by Yen Weng 3B.
Not only did he cause problems to wingers, he scored the winning goal to the final match and won his team the championship.

Best Newcomer(??)
This is to those faces whom u rarely or never seen kicking a ball but made a great impact today/yesterday.
Zhen Yi 3F. Goalie. Like i said, so many saves.
Hairul 3I. Scored 2 goals, knocking 3G out.

thats all the titles i can think about.
gotta go TeeVee now.

FTE Results

quite surprised with my results.
didnt expect to get 29 in class?
i tot id do much worst?
it says here, "PROMOTED TO SEC4 EXPRESS"
thank god.

had Inter-Class soccer today.
Proud to announce i was top scorer for 10 mins.
Until Eugene 3F scored 1
and Kannan 3I scored 2.
wait.
means i was top scorer for 20 mins?
well, doeant really matter cuz 3G is out already.

but i'm not so sad.
can see how strong out opponents are.
we can be considered quite unlucky.
But sometimes losing by stupid goals is just irritating?!?!
oh well, tmr will be the semi finals and finals.

3B, 3H, 3I, 3F

3F is hanging on
3B has the teamwork and skills
3H has the speed and drive.
3I has the brains?
kidding
3I are all rounded and pack a punch.

seriously i dont know who will win but for some reason
i have a feel for 3H.
dunnoe la.
i just wish i cud be there la.

1 Syawal

Hari Raya
yeah.

As usual, the big big Hari Raya prayer first thing in the morn.
No doubt, mosque was full.
Ppl shaking hands, hugging and apologizing and all after prayers.
A sight found onli on this day.

The spice crackers were finished even before any1 came.
I happen to find them addictive.

My Australian relatives came by.
Had much fun wif em.
Not that busy a day today.
3 families in total.

I shall not reveal hw much money i got.

Only a matter of minutes till the official end of fasting.
Not really satisfied by how i spent today.
2pm - 6pm sleeping.

must've been tired from Battlefield Tour.
Seriously i expected much more from it.
Going out to Geylang

TONIGHT

Woke up at 3am to watch Real Madrid v Barcelona.

JOHORE "MONSTER GUN"

Sunday, October 22, 2006

My my..
a post draught in my blog.
Well people like me arent that interested in posting exam results on blogs anyway.

But to tell you the truth,
i am keen to let you know that ALL students in 3G are going to Year 4 EXPRESS NEXT YEAR!!
so NOW we can start worrying about class jerseys and all.
however i do have a feeling nobody's gonna pay.

Anyways,
it has already been almost one month since fasting month started.
And today, (12.15 AM, Sunday)
will be the second last day of fasting for this year.
Without a doubt there is a mixed feeling in most Muslim's heart.

that exciting feeling that Hari Raya is 2 days away and on top of that, all you can eat plus green packets.
but that safe and secure feeling of being protected by god will be gone.
that holy presence will be missing again for one year.

so at the end of the day, we ask ourselves.
have we used this holy month to the maximum of our benefits.
for me, the answer is definitely no.
inevitably.
but a stronger religious feeling now resides in my heart.
and i hope it remains for a long time come.

well, ive got 2 more days.
wonder what i'll do.

BATTLEFIELD TOUR ON MONDAY

Gd DAY Mayte!!

today is a long anticipated day for me.
my relatives from Australia have supposedly arrived in Singapore at 2 am this morning.
hope they had a safe journey

they will be living at my aunt's house
for their time here, around 1 month.
this is the second time they have come back to Singapore for Hari Raya.
I will be visiting them in a few hours time and i'm really excited.
there are so many things to chat about.
just hope they dont ask about results though.
hehe.

a little bit more on them, my nephews,
they were borned in Singapore
and then migrated to Perth, Australia, some years back.
they've been living there since then
and have returned quite a few times.

They are probably the closest relatives i have and know.
I really envy them for being able to live in Australia.

NCOs

first training as a full-pledged NCO yesterday.
According to CLTs, it ran smoothly
and it was a good first attempt.

Well, im happy about it.
but there sure are ALOT of things to work on.

Part B's (sec2) marching really disappointed me.
they did much better before.
but obviously they are still not in the mood for NCC yet.
its only the first training after a long break.
so its normal.
but there are things dat are not caused by this.
they dont seem lazy to march properly.
rather, they seem so inexperienced and blur.
as if they dont know what to do.

well, we have 2 months till sec 1 orientation.
till then, we'll have to stress on footdrill all the way.

Girls + Soccer = ?

Been seeing alot of girls playing soccer these days.
Specifically, at SAFRA.
Yesterday was an ALL-GIRLS team.
Today was mixed.

Its rare to see a girl dribble the ball so fast, with such skill.
It feels as if she is better than you.
Even rare to see girls going up against boys,
in a game that is so aggressive.

Seriously, as much as i LOVE soccer,
girls are meant for many other things.
You want to play a sport?
why not badminton? or swimming?
pool?
bowling?
netball?
volleyball?
basketball even?
You ppl dont look good with street soccer shoes, stopping the ball with ur CHEST, and heading the ball here and there.

I'm not being sexist.
But i'm against girls playing soccer.
But by all means those who love it, play it and have as much fun as you can.
This is only my personal opinion.

But i gotta admit,
those that were playing today were damn fine.

My friend came along,
saw the court filled with girls.
First reaction,

Haze and Mosquitos

the haze is back.
so are the mosquitos

and as i was tearing my way back from the mosque
i was also scratching my neck which suffered 2 massive blows (bites)
and one more on my arm.

not to mention that these are new editions onto my collection of 7.

wait...

..could it be?

mosquitos thrive in hazy weather???

maybe.

well, played soccer today.
yes even though i was fasting
"some" ppl broke fast cuz they cudnt take it
i wont mention who.

but I, Abdul Aziz am proud to announce that i survived playing
soccer under the hot hot sun, in hazy weather, barefooted
and still not break my fast illegaly.

WELL DONE!

The War has ended... for now.

such delight after the end of last paper Bio just now
but the happiness ends sumwhere near for me.
i will definitely resent the days ahead.

happy?
yes.
exams are over.
why not?

good results?
no.
spoils the mood
what if i have to take combined sciences next year?
leave my current class?
even if not, worst of all, i wud have wasted much time on pure Sciences this year.

drop a science subject?
even worse.
future do wad?
accountancy?
im tired of that.
not to mention i flopped that paper too

right now...

..i just need..

I Dream : Leann Rimes vs Taufik Batisah

CONFIRM!!
Leann Rimes travel to the future,
steal the song
and sing in 2001.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tq0lyaBsHyY

kidding.
seems to be some kind of conspiracy here.
the song I Dream
was supposedly written for the finalists of Singapore Idol
and was to be honoured to the winner.

sadly
Leann Rimes sang it in 2001.
making the song unoriginal
and arising question marks towards the person who 'wrote' the song.
i read it on the papers.

they said Leann Rimes sang an almost similar version

see this video

what the hell
its exactly the same

i dunnoe wad to comment.
but

I DREAM..

INHALE...

aaahhh..
fresh air.
this is how i love Singapore.
PSI 33.
Improved alot hasnt it.

Biology paper tomorrow.
they gave us a weekend and i misused it.
Slept and LANed.
i studied nuts.

All i know is Homeostasis is the maintenence of..
k i studied nothing.
at all

FREEDOM!!

Saturday, October 07, 2006

wow. so many ppl getting married today.
went out of house.
saw a wedding car parked outside.
waiting at bus stop,
a wedding car passed by.
inside bus on the way to Paradiz,
saw another wedding car.
just now, at safra,
another wedding car.
could have been the oddest wedding car ive seen
a red Chevrolet.

2 wedding dinners at Safra's Pioneer Restaurant.
Anything held there is super grand.
Confirm high class the kind of people.

Anyway the haze isnt getting any better.
Or maybe it did a little bit.
I still feel eye irritation.
And i cud hardly see the Singapore Skyline just now.
Like i said. have to bear with it.
Asthma ppl please dun go out too much.
and dun think being inddors in air-conned places is good too.

haze air + air con air = bad bad air.

and i finally completed Crisis Zone.
Some arcade shooting game.
completed all 3 stages plus bonus stage.
2 tokens.
the last token wasted.
had to use it in order to complete bonus stage.

RANKING 6th!!

My Virgin EYES!!!

I swear the haze is irritating.
Dunnoe if you ppl have noticed it yet.
But i just noticed the intensity of the haze last night.
While Iskandar claimed to have noticed a "change in atmosphere"
a few weeks ago.
I tought he lied.

Well, it certainly didnt make walking easy.
While others can simply ignore it like nothing was there,
a few of us walking to Hill Lock (Bukit Purmei)
got some eye irritation
my friend with Asthma had to cover his mouth and nose
so walking around these days arent that healthy
but exams are ending anyway
so if u wanna kill yourself go ahead.

wait.

shudnt you do that before the exams?

well. i dunnoe
for all i know this haze is a result of major deforestaion in Indonesia.
Well, not the first time it happened.
But little by little this is gonna affect the environment quite badly.
News say it'll end in 2 days.
Just have to bare with it.

Talking about last night.
It was Chinese and Indians(Hindus)
Back to back
Chinese were out for some Lantern Festival or is it Mooncake
which i tot was days ago.
Hill Lock was filled with kids and parents having some fun under the full moon.
While Hindus were at the open field beside Radin Mas Primary for some celebrations of some sort?
All this, while Muslim Malays and Indians go to Mosque for prayers.

So i guess, really nobody was at home last night?
really was a lively night. Loved it.

As for me, i didnt really pray.
Went to play soccer with some Henderson peepz at Hill Lock
MY FIRST DOZE OF SOCCER AFTER AROUND 1 MONTH.
hey. its the fasting month. u cant see me running around in the day.
so the night is my opportunity.
my chance
my saviour

we knocked out 4 teams in a row.
which was AMAZING
with ISKANDAR as goalkeeper.
upfront was me, Jaarvis and Azhar(not my father)
I didnt know Jaarvis played that well.
And Azhar was as good as usual.
Me? BAGUUUUUUUS (good)

funny thing was this super gay strong team was playing.
I was 101% sure we were gonna lose.
We started the match.
2 mins later
We Won.
Shortest game of that night.

3 cheers to soccer.

EL Paper 2 down

And yet another paper down today.
EL Paper 2
that sums up everything that we have to do for English for the year.

The passage was easy to understand.
And the questions werent too difficult.
But there was awfully too many 1 mark questions.
And since no half marks will be given for partially correct answers,
if u screw up in a 1 mark question,
there will be no pity marks.
and since there are so many such questions,
a person may fail due to this.

thats why my 1 mark answers were as long as those u wud see in a 3 mark answer.

Prevention is better than cure.

Even when they asked for one reason, i stated 2.
Is dat suppoased to be okay?

Well, trying hard to recall all POA solutions.
Emaths 2? Forget it.
Not gonna pass it anyway.
So tonight will be POA all the way.

Trial Balance, Balance Sheet, Cash Book, General Journals, Trading Account, Profit Loss Account, Bank Reconciliation, Bank Account, Balance Day Adjustments, Book of original entry.

ONE NIGHT

50

Finally!!
50th post of this blog!
goddamned, i'm a slow blogger.

it wez the long awaited Geography paper ytday.
Followed by a well-anticipated Chemistry paper.
well
both were long awaited.
but im glad to say Geography turned out okay
for the first time, i feel a possibility of passing after handing up a Geog assignment.
i was all smiles when Benny reminded me of reality.
its true.
FOr Geog, we always think we would pass.
but in the end
the marking schemes were different,
standards were high
and we "unexpectedly" fail the paper.
well, only thing to do is hope for the best isnt it.

im still hitting myself for the stupid mistake i made in Chem paper.

Name the reducing agent in this process

I answered Carbon Monoxide.

CORRECT ANSWER!!

..until

I cancelled it and put Calcium Oxide instead.
why?
because the next line was something like:
Carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide and nitrogen are the waste products in this process..

so i figured if carbon monoxide was a waste product,
it wudnt be reducing agent wud it?

Naive thinking

though that question was worth onli one mark
i think it will be a costly one.
i scored 50% for Chem last semester.
i cant afford to lose marks like that.
again,

HOPE FOR THE BEST!

Return

For some reason, i wasnt able to access blogger for some time.
If u had followed my tagboard, i was discussing on SG Idol
but no time for that now.

ive been reading up on Chemistry for the past hour.
Still, nothing has completely entered my brain.
I dont know.
Shud i continue on Chem or use the night to study Geog.
Im really afraid of tmr's papers.

I barely passed Chem last semester.
Passing it now wud be some sort of an impossibility at my current state.
Geography. Well. Not many pass it anyway.
But if i want any chance of passing Humanities,
i wud have to score at least 40% for this paper.
Also seemingly impossible.

Anyway, did SS and Emaths1 just now
Emaths was not as hard as i tot.
But passing?
HELL NO.
Im trying to say that i wont get lower than 10 marks.

SS. I just didnt have enough time.
My last question, structured essay, was 4 lines long.
Level 1 answer i think.
That wud give me.. 2 marks?
Damn it. I focused too much on Source based qns.
ANd i dun thiink i did them correctly too.

DEAD?
