Attention to all
persons other than a family member,
spouse or lover whose company I enjoy and towards whom
I feel a certain degree of affection,
or otherwise known as my friends.

It is time to repay me, your Godfather with a service.

I require the following items for my journey to the East.

1) A working cellular phone along with it's charger
- Spare phone shall do
- Because my phone has failed me

2) A jacket
- Any type shall do
- Because its cold but not that cold over there

3) Digital Camera
- I know i wont receive any responses for this
- But who knows?
- This one is really optional though

Im pretty sure i need some other stuff
but i forgot wad.

Well anyway, anybody who is willing to lend
me any of the above, please contact me by Sunday

Sooo many things i havent done.

1) Go to money changer
2) Get a new pair of shoes
3) Decide on which bag to bring
and some more..

I also dont know wad kind of shoes to buy.
Ughh..
Life and its decisions..

Thank goodness there's Big Bang

This remix is just too good.
I mean, i tot Big Bang's unique tunes were great
but i forgot how good rap-oriented pop songs are.
At least that's what i call it.
This remix brings them closer to Epik High's style,
which btw, is the only other Korean artist
i listen to, other than the occasional Younha.

How sucky is this.
I really have problems trying to sleep early these days.
And i swear its not because i've been having that
Craig David "Insomnia" song on replay for the past 2 days.

Usually, after holidays, i dont take too long
to readjust my body clock.
But for this particular year,
after the December break ended,
ive struggled to fall asleep early;
and today's no exception.

Its not so much of a "cant sleep" problem.
Its a "cant sleep on time" kind of problem.
No matter how early i get to bed,
i usually end up falling asleep at 2am,
which leaves me only more thn 4 hours to sleep
cuz i wake up at 6.30am almost everyday.
Dun ask why so early.

I was feeling really tired a few hours ago.
I was confident i would fall asleep fast and easy.
So i went to bed at 9pm.
But here i am, 12am, wide awake cuz my eyes
just cant close anymore.
I guess i have to wait for 2am again.

And i feel like shit.
Tired but cant sleep.

At least there's still the Bee Gees

How deep is your love?
How deep is your love?
I really need to learn..
Cause we're living in a world of fools,
breaking us down,
when they all should let us be.
We belong to you and me...

Now that's dope..

Hey people.
Just an update on what's been happening.

School ended
and today onwards is effectively my so called study week.
First paper on the 20th, second on the 21st,
and last one on the 27th.
I did not wish for the long gap between 2nd and last paper.
Not the best timing cuz it leaves me with a maximum
of 3 days to prepare for my long long trip to China.
Would have liked it if this year had a 29th to its February.

But anyway, I will be flying off to China
on the 2nd or the 3rd of March.
The whole programme lasts for more or less, 43 days,
so i will only be back at ard 12th to 13th April,
again just leaving me one week til school reopens.

So from here onwards, it will be something like;
study for end of semester exams,
thn straight away fly off to China
and study there for 6 weeks,
rest for 1 week,
and school reopens.

43 days is awfully long but its the main reason
why i chose to sign up for this programme.
To immerse myself in a different culture and society,
and experience things dat i cant experience as a normal tourist.

Though i must admit, part of me actually
wanted the whole thing to get canceled.
All because i will be missing this years NCC Annual Camp.
Would love to attend it.
That, plus all the soccer with SBU.

So this is what u call opportunity cost huh?

Nonetheless, i'm still motivated and excited
on going ahead with this immersion programme.
Over there i'll have lots of time;
something which i surprisingly lack at home.
I'll finally be able to run and exercise regularly,
watch anime and movies,
write a journal, many more.

I dont expect myself to be adapting so easily though.
I reckon it will take some time,
but i guess im up for it.
While im there, i'll probably open up a new blog
just for my daily entries about life in China.
Someone remind me to do that please.

I probably shud get back to watching Family Guy,
which i do so in order to distract myself from studying.

"Chris, everything i say is a lie.
Except that.
And that.
And that And that And that And that And that.
...
..
And that."

Chris (who is dying): Hey dad, i can see a white light at the end of a long tunnel..

Peter: Oh thats great son, light is good. Run towards the light!

Thats good stuff..

Liverpool vs Chelsea

Liverpool 2, Chelsea 0
Yet even more frustration for Chelsea fans.

"Heading into Christmas when Liverpool were 7 points clear of Manchester United and Chelsea 6, this match looked like a title decider; now both sides are fighting to simply stay in the top 3. The managers have shared kidney stone problems, and the pain of dropped points"

Chelsea's bad news started coming at the 60th min,
when Frank Lampard got sent off for a lunging tackle

"Lampard winning the ball and then caught Xabi Alonso..
..OH ITS A RED CARD! Straight red for Frank Lampard."

Liverpool's Steven Gerrard also attempted a similar tackle
earlier on.
It's just that Kalou evaded that tackle,
so Gerrard was not show any card at all.
Some things that human refereeing can't solve.

But Chelsea were still holding on,
with Mikel and Alex throwing their bodies in front of goal
to protect it,
and also due to the heroics of Petr Cech.

"Well he (Petr Cech) may have his critics this season for the way he has dealt with crosses but in terms of saving shots, he is still magnificent."

But despite all that,

Fernando Torres scores the goal at the 89th min.

Notice how clear this pic is compared to the others?
Its cuz they literally froze on their spots.
Poor Scolari and co.

So all Liverpool needed to do was hold on
and waste time for like 5 mins or so.

So Yossi Benayoun shields the ball
and keeps it away from anyone
at the corner of the field.
He's like, "YOU SHALL NOT PASS!!"

Bosingwa had other ideas.
"Wong Fei Hung family style: Shadowless Kick!!"

And he walks away.
Drogba is like,"Erm...Okay..."
The whole world goes "WTF-mate?!?!"

The referee?

"Huh? Oh. Yea. No foul"

And before Chelsea could do anything else,
a minute later,

Torres scores his and Liverpool's second.
El Nino is back!

Swear i couldnt take my eyes off my small tv screen.

Tom Cruise and Jamie Foxx were just too great.

"Yo homie. That my briefcase?"

In other news, COMT presentation on Tuesday,
1000 word Econs essay due Friday,
and tons of homework to be done by who knows when.
