featured on tv

Alright.
The previous post i told you all
Lebanon's number 8
got jeered at very badly

After watching this video i really felt damn bad for him.
In fact, when he got subbed,
he looked damn sad and received
a pat on the back from his coach.
That part i really regret jeering him.

But at any rate, here's the extent of Kallang's JEERING

i just love the "Buto!" cheer at 00:42
and 1:28

the commentators even commented
at how the fans have
gotten "on his back"
and how the Singapore support
were against Lebanon.

BUT NOT ONLY THAT

now every1 take a closer look at
00:19 to 00:25

i'll help u out here

now this was a surprise LOL
actually there is also Sufi in this pic.
but as silly as it is, i forgot wad colour
he was wearing,
and where he was actually sitting,
so i cant identify
plus, there were at least 15 other GESSians
sitting with us, on the left of the picture.
shudnt leave u guys out. haha
but still, too lazy to edit pic

not the first time i got featured in the media
for attending a Singapore soccer match though.

cant find me?

So as you can see, the media loves me.
I somehow have to be somewhere
in their footage/articles.

What to do?
Die hard fan mah...

Singapore 2 Lebanon 0

WOOOOHOOOOO!!!
Singapore 2
Lebanon 0

3 points for SINGAPORE!!

The early goal (8th minute) from Aleksander Duric
sent the fans at the stadium crazy man!!

Thn Fazrul Nawaz missed a clear open goal chance,
got boo-ed at,
thn came back a few mins later,
scoring a beauty of a solo goal.

Now that's wad i call proving yourself.

There were no more goals after that,
but as usual, we had lots of fun.
Seriously speaking, we jeered more than we cheered today.

Last match we led the crowd in cheering
for the small ballpicker boy.

Today, we boo-ed
Lebanon's number 8.
I think this was the worst night of his life.
HAHA.
Everytime he got the ball,
the boos came in.
He resorted in doing nothing much at all,
and was substituted at half time or sth.

After that, the crowd boo-ed at number 16.
Seriously, i dont know why it was him.
Number 16
became so stressed,
he resulted in acting like a maniac for a second,
shaking his upper body in a very strange manner.
16 is 8 times 2 btw

Last few mins,
we shouted "OLE"
everytime Singapore played a pass successfully.

It started out very soft,
but after some time,
The OLE became very loud.
You'll feel really proud when u actually make the crowd
do something.

Cuz unlike wad you see in English football matches,
Singapore fans dont really do much.
But they do cheer la.

I think they shud hire us to be mascots or something.

Well, over at sumwhere in the middle east,
Uzbekistan trashed Saudi Arabia 3 - 0.
Uzbekistan is our next opponent at home.
Toughest opponents yet for Singapore.

i think this poster is fucking nice

Botak and Union Flag

Went to collect O lvl cert in GESS today.
Its such a hassle to be going back to GESS these days.
First of all on the way back to GESS from Tiong Bahru,
Especially at the traffic light,
you walk past lots of GESSians
and they give you this look
like they've seen you before
but they're not entirely sure.
Of course some KNOW that ur an ex student.
Well today at the traffic light i saw
Tan Ri Sheng
with a specific someone.
haha.

Aight.
Thn when i enter GESS from the Tiong Bahru gate,
still lots of eyes staring and all.
Some waves from the ppl at the soccer court,
and when i reach the CCA block corridor,
the NCC greetings start coming in.

"GOOD AFTERNOON SIR!"

of course everytime the cadets greet you,
ur supposed to aknowledge it.
So everytime a platoon greeted,
i had to wave and smile and all,
just like a President or sth.

After collecting my cert,
i hung around for a few mins,
thn made my way to Central.

Followed Setiawan and the rest
to alter his pants, thn slack at Funan's Macdonalds.
Talked about lots of stuff,
but most surprisingly of all,
we saw Botak.

If u guys dun remember, he was the emcee
for our batch's Grad Night.

Suddenly one guy from the corner of our eyes
said loudly, "Eh! Hi!"
but Botak wasnt talking to us.
He was saying hi to a friend sitting near us.

The second after he said "Eh!",
we turned to his direction,
and it didnt take us even a second
to recognize him.

Me, Setiawan and Kum Wai went
"EH!!"
at the same time.
Xiao Yang and Marcus were lagging abit.
But of course Botak wudnt have recognized us.

Nth much after dat, i guess.
Oh yea i finally got myself a Union Flag.
If u have no idea wad it is,
wait for a few days.
I'll surely blog about it.

Singapore vs Australia

Alright man.
Singapore drew 0 - 0 with Australia.
Decent score considering we lost to them
3 - 0 last time,
at the supposedly "closing ceremony"
of the National Stadium.

They've said dat so many times.
Yet this Wed,
the stadium is gonna be used one more time
for Singapore vs Lebanon.

As expected, we were the center of attraction there.
Cuz we are the only ones who cant shut up.
Especially today, when the turnout was
much less than usual,
and that we sat in front.

Usually when we sit behind,
everytime we shout or scold,
ppl will turn back and smile smile.
So abit awkward.

This time, the only awkward thing was dat,
an Australian family was sitting just behind us.
But we overcame the barriers
and eventually we cheered like no mother.
Surprisingly enuff, i only shouted vulgarities once.

Australians are very sporting.
Even though they are surrounded
by a sea of not-so-red Singapore fans,
they are the ones cheering and all.

But everytime they cheered
we countered them and cheered back.
Sadly, we were about the only ones doing it.
Come on people.
Ur already at the stadium,
ur watching a match,
so why not make some noise?

And i certainly hope much more fans come down
to support Singapore on Wed.
After all, it is THAT match
that decides whether we'll be going to
the World Cup finals.

Last year the Singapore 2010 dream was written off.
Its very much alive rite now.
That's why i'll be there to support the Lions.

Horton

Alright so i was at Tiong Bahru Plaza
to watch a movie.
Saw a few familiar faces at Mac,
thn headed to GV.

Horton is a very nice movie.
Its got a simple plot,
good humor,
and also some dramatic scenes.
Its got a really epic ending and i loved it.
Kind of like how Ice Age 2 was.

I get the feeling im gonna stay up til very late tonight.
I woke up at 8am,
used the com til 10am,
went to sleep til 3pm.
I am VERY awake now.
Guess i'll go stream a movie later.
Just streamed Road Trip last night.
Its nice and its NC 16 for reasons dat become very obvious
when u watch it.

^^

talking about movies,
a long nap in the morning to afternoon
also meant i had this very long
and surprisingly smooth flowing dream.
It was kind of like an Indiana Jones setting.
I was in a group, we were in some ancient cave,
we were to avoid the bad guys, and get the treasure
for ourselves.

98% of the dream i was just being useless
and didnt know wad purpose i had in the story.
but at the very end,
i accidentally used my revolver and shot down my friend,
thinking he was the enemy.
yea, dat was my purpose.

among the other things i remember
was a dolphin with a beak of a parrot?
and a very big botak head guy chasing us.

if i have time after my retirement age,
maybe i'll write a screenplay for it.

i didnt realise the flaw in the Horton movie until now.
the so called moral of the story is,
"People are people, no matter how small"

there was nothing wrong with this
until i remembered
the characters in the movie were either
animals or micro organisms.

but nvrm

Acer Extensa

I finally got myself a laptop.
Though its only an Acer Extensa,
compared to others who have models far better than mine,
i'm still satisfied with it.
For a fact, its faster than my desktop.

Well anyway, i went down to Ngee Ann Poly
for the fourth time, today.
This time, to take the colour vision test.
Seems that i have perfect colour vision.
Don't know about perfect VISION itself though.

After that, went to buy me laptop.
Along the way,
actually before and after all these,
Many random ppl tried to psycho Shahril and I
into going for Freshmen Orientation Camp
and Sports Camp.

Khalish even called my name out loud
and told me to join.
An NCC senior btw.
We faked our way thru most of them.

Random guy: Excuse me, are u 2 freshmen?
Shahril: Ahh..no Year 2. *smile smile

looking at how fake Shahril's expression was,
i was surprised the guy even fell for it.
Well we used this method a few times.

then at the canteen,
2 girls were approaching us with a
" I think they're freshmen but im afraid to ask"
kind of look.

But not wanting to have awkward moments
talking to strangers about joining
some camp dat i have no intention of attending,
I pretended to be damn busy on the phone,
writing something down on a notebook.
wow this paragraph is actually a sentence.

The thing is,
i swear they were super hot.

Well back to buying my laptop,
another NCC senior, Zhi Yong
guided me through.
And purchasing my laptop was a very easy process.
Went on to check my laptop sumwhere in the school,
and after everything was cleared,
went home.

i took a photo while testing my webcam.

there it is

Alrite, im gonna have to head to NCC camp soon.
I dun have much to blog about rite now,
but i figured if you do visit anytime during my
5 day hiatus, maybe u'd want to see more
Death Note (anime).

Spoilers ahead
(if u plan to watch the series, dat is)

I LMAOed when i first saw how he reacted
dats L btw, with Ryuzaki as his alias

Its L vs Light,
but not the way we know it. :)

Light finally revealing his identity as Kira.
Though reason being he was already at a dead end.
The white haired boy we see is Near,
otherwise known as "N"

He is one half of the "successors" of L,
the other being Mello a.k.a "M".

One of my favourite scenes.

L loves candy ^^

See ya guys.

deathnote and hair cut

Just went for a haircut.
I was beginning to realize that i'm not
the type who'd look good with long hair.
So today for the first time i saw
brown hair dropping onto the floor of salon.

I feel a hell lot better now
with short hair.
Guess long hair needs a little bit of getting used to.

Anyway on the bus to Jurong just now,
i rediscovered the pleasures of listening
to music on a long bus ride.
Especially Japanese music.
Don't know why.

A quarter of the journey was spent listening
to the Death Note anime's theme songs.
And THEN i realized wad a genius anime
Death Note was.
Truly one of the best the world has seen.

i had a death note post sometime back:
http://aziz-hysteria.blogspot.com/2007/08/death-note.html

Death Note music:

i prefer the 2nd one so much more.
it shows u how crazy the anime is.
i mean it has its own way of being crazy la.
the 1st one wud be more accurate in describing Light Yagami though.
His superiority complex and
ambition to be god and all.

so as i was browsing thru YouTube,
i came upon this.

Wad happens when Spongebob found the DeathNote?

Again, GENIUS...

trip to the library

Today, i was pretty much amazed by
the shit load amount of things u can learn
and information u can gain by visiting the library.
Of course, there was a fair share
of studious and cute looking chicks.

In my whole teenage life,
i've never visited the library for the purpose
of researching cuz the Internet
was my partner for that.
Only been to the library to study for major exams.

Today, since i had nth to do at home,
i went to Bukit Merah's library.
Since i'm now posted to Electrical Engineering,
i'm gonna have to face Physics,
something i've never studied before,
Engineering Maths, which is pretty much A.Maths,
also something i didnt take,
and stuff like Computer Programming.

And so i picked up the book,
"The Complete Guide to Physics for Dummies"
i had a hard time choosing between the one for Dummies
and the one for Idiots
cuz i didnt really know which one i was.
But looking into both books, i found the one for Dummies
more interesting, and therefore denied myself
from being an idiot.
I sat down and amazingly read for 1 hour.
It was quite a good read on the Electricity chapters.
I hvnt really got the facts memorized,
but i hope i will soon.

Before leaving, i read a Japanese phrase book
in order to improve my already
beginner-level Japanese language prowess,
which is thnx to my 3 years of watching anime.

Soon enough, i was on my way home, but not before
stopping by NTUC to get myself some chocolate.
I knew very well that i wud meet Eugene and Yong Li over there.
True enough, after just a few seconds i saw Gene,
who told me that Yong Li was upstairs.
And so we went to visit him.

It was a sight to behold.
Yong Li was stationed at a counter just in front the escalator,
in a way that when one is reaching the 2nd floor,
by the escalator,
one would slowly see the emerging sight of Ng Yong Li,
scanning items, pushing buttons and giving receipts.
Yong Li spotted me and waved from afar.

I went to buy Hersheys,
paying for them at Yong Li's counter.
I stayed for awhile to talk about his JAE posting
which was delayed due to his special appeal.
At this moment, he was cheated 5 cents
from an old lady,
whose items totaled up to $5.05 but only gave $5.

I didnt have time for fear of a downpour,
so i went back home.
Realized that the enrolment package had arrived.
It seems like a very confusing process to enrol.
Nonetheless, i'll be sure to read everything properly tmr..
