I honestly dont believe wad i just did.
(or rather wad i just did not do)

I woke up at 6am.
Seems normal enough.
But i wasnt supposed to wake up that LATE.

WADEVER HAPPENED TO WATCHING THE
EURO FINALS!!!

OH MY GOD.

OF ALL THE MATCHES I CAN POSSIBLY MISS,

I MISSED THE FINALS.

i wasnt even tired.
i dunno why the heck
i slept thru the alarm.
was there even an alarm?

Spain vs Germany.
Spain won 1 - 0.
Luckily only one goal.

If it had been a 5 goal thriller,
who knows wad i wud have done to myself this morning.
(nothing)

Still, it wud feel damn shitty.
Guess its over now,
and i have a presentation to make in a few mins.

Okay, i wanted to watch so much anime this holiday,
but i was too occupied with soccer and NCC the first week
which leaves me with time only to catch up with
the ongoing series ToLOVE Ru and rewatch
the whole series of Death Note.

yes people.
Death Note.
I'm rewatching it.
again.

Its simply a classic.
"In a league of its own", according to Cheng Yu.

I fear ive waited too long to actually blog and review
on this year's LDC,
so i wont.

If ur wondering what else i've been doing,
i've practically been watching anime until i doze off
in front of the monitor,
then procede to use my remaining ounce of energy
to switch the com off and sleep.
This is during the day.

I'm up whole night/morning
from 8pm all the way to 4am +/-
Watching EURO 2008,
which has been highly entertaining.

Holland's lightning quick counter attacks,
Russia's crisp and precise passing,
Germany's range of passing and fluid play,
Turkey's remarkable comeback,
Croatia's apparent rise in the international stage,
and finally Spain's chance to break the quarter final jinx.

Theres so much to look out for.
Of course, one more thing to add is how Italy will perform
having qualified for the quarters despite lacklustre performances.

I cant imagine any football fan missing out
on what's happening right now.

Anyway, school's reopening,
and i dont get the feel that i'll be able to blog anything
interesting in the near future.
So like what most ppl do,
i shall turn your attention to someplace else.

The phenomena called YOUTUBE

Josh introduced me to this.

Hiyouk hiyouk hiyouk~

i think if i were there i wud really be on the floor
laughing and grabbing onto my stomach.
Never laughed so much since Muneer's leg cramp at Chong Pang
that, ladies and gentlemen,
is another story.

ECPRO

This one day in ECPRO...
(Engineering, A Creative Profession)
yep dats the module's name.

We were given a toolkit.

Which had the following items.

The ppl you see here are my classmates btw.

and pardon me for unintentionally
giving the Haziq face.
i just found it funny to be messing with my laptop's webcam.

"Hi!!"

So you start with many parts,

And with highly sophisticated mathematical calculations

and some brilliant engineering,

You get a small robot car!

And guess wad?
It actually looks good with my mouse on top of it.

This is the small wheel version.

Dun play play, cuz my car was fast and had a good torque!!
(secret: i used my own new batteries)
(but maybe the whole class also did so)
(you sneaky bastards)

and with that being done,
I shall now be on a 5 day hiatus.

anybody who wants to find me can do so back at GESS.
and Pulau Ubin.

And so the Free Hugs campaign continues around the world,
this time Ecuador.

i believe this was done recently.
Singapore had one last year i think.
But none of it was made into a video like this.
Amazing that this campaign started with just one man,
who wanted to make a difference,
and bring some love and happiness into lives of strangers
he see on the streets.

It began in Australia,
and has since been done in many other places.

Here's the original version

its far more inspiring to watch.

Anyway, today played another match.
And won 3 - 0.
But 2nd half was cut short by half since
we there was no time left.
Blame the previous 2 teams for ending late.

Overall performance for the match was pretty good.
But i just cant get rid of one problem,
which is leg cramps.
Maybe my body just cant last the full 90 minutes.
But i'll work on that.
I hope.

Should have directed my half volley lower...

Btw, EURO 2008 has been quite entertaining,
esp the previous match whereby
Netherlands trashed Italy 3 - 0.
wadye know, same score.
Stellar performance from the Oranje.

I'm highly anticipating Spain vs Russia later.
Partly because of Fernando Torres.

End of Week 8 in Ngee Ann Poly.
With that, i'm a quarter way through year 1.
Too fast? Too slow?
I'd say slightly leaning to the fast side.

On my way to school yesterday,
on the bus, i saw some ppl in another bus,
a transport bus for probably foreign workers,
with the passengers all standing up, tip toeing,
getting off their seat,
going out of their way just to get a glimpse of something.
They were damn excited,
just like kindergarten kids in a school bus.

I looked towards the direction they were looking,
and a striking beauty stood before me (lol haruhi).
Okay la, not so striking, and it was actually
a few meters away.

Bet ur wondering what it is.
It was actually a black lamborghini.
One look and you would go "Wow".
It wasnt as striking as the orange one i usually see,
but this one was damn cool la.
The shape is slightly different,
and at the hind of the car,
the top was transparent so you could see
the engine and stuff inside the car.

Coincidentally, this happened really very near
the spot where i will see the orange lamborghini,
parked at the exact same place almost everyday.

So yea a little bit of my time in dat bus
was spent fantasizing on these expensive cars.
Though for like 8 weeks i see that orange one
time and time and again,
it still doesnt fail to catch my attention.

On to the common tests,
well tests are definitely different here in poly,
in a sense, they actually feel like major exams.
You do it in a hall with lots of ppl,
you're supposed to bring ur student ID,
and stuff like dat.

Not the usual separate ur tables and do ur papers
but in secret i'll copy your's kind of test
i got used to in sec sch.
Ok la i didnt cheat all the time.
Seriously.

So the bad thing about this is dat
im gonna have to face "exams" 4 times a "year"
instead of the usual 2,
since common tests really does feel like major exams.
And these exams are like gonna happen once every 8 weeks?

The good news for now is that
i'm finally having holidays now.
All the way til the 22nd of this month.
Not much of a holiday,
but i guess its a good break.
A break dat will be spent on football,
NCC, football and football.

I will not study.
