NCC Reflection

Its been like 2 and a half years.
of what?
I wudnt say suffering. People before us have suffered more.
I'd say sweat and pain, overshadowed by fun, joy and laughter.
Joining NCC was definitely the right choice for me.
What is there to regret?
The push ups done?
Push ups are a good exercise.
The tekan sessions?
Those were great bonding activities.
Without them, camps wudnt have been memorable.
The boring trainings?
Wrong. They're not boring.


Soccer after training.
Illegal gatherings outside school, eating MAMEE snacks,
Joining forces to suan Mr Beh,
Joking with NCOs,
Enjoying the sun with footdrill,

Theres more than meets the eye.

One by one, we faced the many challenges.

We survived through series of Annual Camps,
Starred in Footdrill Competition,
but of course cocked up in ROD.

Im telling you.
What we're doing now is picking ourselves up.
We believe tomorrow will be a better day.
Whats the next project?
Sec 1 Orientation?
Bring it on!

And as i type. I realize that i am just one step away from being an NCO. By right, i already am.
Just have to go through Leadership Course Phase 2.
Appointments are already out and pinned on the board.
They were more or less expected results.
