June Movies

June June June
Holidays Holidays Holidays
Movies Movies Movies

its just the beginning of the month.
ive only watched one.
but wait.

Pirates of the Caribbean was released on 24th May
so does dat count?

anyway,
here's a rundown of the movies we can expect this month

of course, now showing,

Shrek 3
never really a fan of the series. didnt really enjoy the first one
but i'll watch the second one on Channel 5

Bottom Line: wait for it on TV

Oceans Thirteen
Another series dat is entering the third of its kind. Seems like a real cool movie. Especially after watching, "The Making of.." I compared the plot to the one of The Italian Job but i was told dat the 2 is very different. Italian Job has more action and stunts, while Danny Ocean's men depend on even proper planning of events and stuff. I was told that they did so much, it was hard to follow the first 2 movies. I had a hard time catching up with the pace of Pirates 3, so maybe i'll give this movie a miss.

Bottom line: like what i said. maybe i'll give it a miss.

Fantastic 4: Rise of The Silver Surfer
The first one was a real disappointment. I expected more from a fight between the Fantastic Four and the ever so sinister Doctor Doom. But in the first movie they just obtained their powers. The Human Torch only knew how to fly during the last fight.
This time, they've probably matured with their powers and we can finally expect more action, expecially when the plot is about saving the world. I'm also interested in seeing how Galactus (Silver Surfer's Master) is portrayed. And how will the return of Doctor Doom add a twist to the story?

and btw, Silver Surfer voiced by Laurence Fishburne?
no link?

Bottom Line: Since i'm a comic book hero fan, this is a must-watch

Surf's Up
I got a glimpse of this before watching Spider-Man 3. Another one of those attractive animated films. About a penguin who dreams to be a renowned surfer. Tells the story of his life, his dream, with a fair share of humor.
I dont get how it is "based on a true story" though. haha.

Bottom Line: might just watch this. if given the money

Transformers
The transformation of vehicles to robots is something that i dun wanna miss.
They're smart as to not revealing TOO much in the trailers. Transformers. Yea you mught call it childish or anything. But hey! Its directed by Michael Bay who directed massively successful movies such as Armageddon, Pearl Harbor, Bad Boys. And the executive producer is Steven Spielberg. I dont have to give elaboration on dat. As kiddy as the title may seem, believe it or not, the movie was given an initial rating of R. After an appeal, it is now PG 13.

Bottom Line: I dunno. Seems VERY appealing. Enough to be a blockbuster.
I'll make up my mind later.

ALSO COMING SOON(JULY)

Harry Potter and the Order of the Pheonix
im watching this one

The Simpsons Movie
definitely

Goal 2
YES!!

Die Hard 4
another appealing one. But i wud have watched too many i guess.

here are some trailers for the coming movies
